“Interactions” – The 53rd Winter School of the Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology will be held at the Beskidzki Raj Hotel & Spa, a unique conference and wellness complex located in the picturesque village of Zawoja, in the heart of the Beskid Mountains.

The hotel is set amid spruce forests and mountain landscapes, providing a setting conducive to focused scientific discussion and informal exchange. Although peacefully situated away from urban noise, the venue remains easily accessible, located approximately 60 km from Kraków and about 75 km from Zakopane.

Beskidzki Raj Hotel & Spa consists of three harmoniously designed buildings: the main hotel building, the SPA building connected by a covered passage, and a regional inn located a short walking distance away. The modern architecture blends seamlessly with the surrounding natural environment, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

Conference sessions will take place in the main building, which offers well-equipped conference halls and seminar rooms, as well as restaurant and banquet facilities suitable for scientific meetings and social events. Participants staying at the hotel will also have access to a wide range of wellness and leisure facilities, including swimming pools, saunas, a SPA area, a fitness room, and indoor recreational attractions such as a bowling alley.

The hotel is one of the highest-elevation venues in the Żywiec Beskid and offers panoramic views of Babia Góra (1,725 m a.s.l.) and the Jałowiec Range. Extensive green areas around the hotel provide excellent opportunities for walks, outdoor activities, and moments of quiet relaxation. Numerous hiking trails, ski facilities, and natural landmarks of the Babia Góra region are located nearby, making the venue ideal for both active and leisurely stays.
