Organisation of Short Oral and Poster Sessions

All sessions will be conducted in a dedicated MS Teams channel “Winter School 2021” that will be ready 10.02!

There are two open sessions: Friday, Feb 12th 10.30- 11.30 and Saturday, Feb 13th, 10.30-11.30. We ask everyone to explore the presentations on your own, before the poster sessions. During the sessions, we encourage discussions with the presenting authors assigned to Friday or Saturday session.  The list of authors presenting in each session is available at the programme.

All conference participants are welcome to attend both sessions when they could reach the authors directly during online meetings, by using either chat function or asking the questions directly. For moderation purposes, please use the “hand” icon to signalize the will of asking the question. If you are willing to ask questions via the chat option, please tag the presenting author in your text.

During the session, voice questions will be answered first. Next, the chat questions will be asked. If some of the questions will not be answered due to the time limit of the session, the participants will have the option for further contact via direct chat or e-mail.

All posters and short oral presentation take part in the competition for The Best Short Oral and The Best Poster Presentation. Each participant will have one vote for the best poster and one vote for the best oral presentation.  Voting will start Feb 12th 10:30 and end Feb 13th 12:00 using Forms in the channel “Winter School 2021”. The best oral and poster presentation will be awarded book prizes or given the additional discount for publishing in Acta Biochimica Polonica.
